Ultra Electronics Precision Air Systems, a division of the Ultra Electronics (UK) group of businesses, is the leading manufacturer of compact on-board gas solutions, including compact gas compressors called HiPPAG for the defence industry worldwide. Applications include cryogenic cooling systems, stores ejection and release systems, and pneumatic systems.

Ultra equipment is prevalent on the JSF for weapons seeker cooling and weapon release.

H.I.Fraser is the exclusive Australian authorized service representative for Marotta Controls Inc (USA). Marotta is a leading supplier of fluid control systems, components and associated electronics to the military, aerospace, space and advanced industrial process market.

Marotta valves and manifolds are prevalent on the RAN’s existing FFG, and the new LHD and AWD class ships as well as the new Joint Strike Fighter (JSF).

Chesterfield Special Cylinders

H.I.Fraser is the exclusive Australian representative for Chesterfield Special Cylinders (UK). Chesterfield Special Cylinders Ltd design and manufacture bespoke ultra-large high pressure seamless steel cylinders for the storage and transport of gases for a wide range of markets including Oil & Gas (elements of motion compensating systems), Naval (submarine & surface Vessel HP air storage), HP Gas Transportation (trailers & skids) and General Industrial (buffer storage of hydrogen, carbon monoxide and permanent gases at high pressure for industrial processes).

Chesterfield also supply a range of small specialist light weight high pressure storage cylinders for the military aerospace industry manufactured from small diameter tube or plate.

Chesterfield Special Cylinders are currently used on the BAE Hawk and JSF airframes.
